Position Summary

Exciting opportunity available for a nurse passionate and experienced in Mental Health and Substance Use! If you have two years related experience in Mental Health and Substance Use environment and would like to be a part of a supportive team environment while working autonomously, this is the position for you!

What will you work on?
The Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse - Rural & Remote works as an integral part of an integrated mental health and substance use service. The Nurse provides services such as case management, treatment, support and recovery, crisis/acute in-reach, episodic overdose prevention services and support to individuals experiencing acute and/or chronic mental illness and/or problem substance use.

This is a Permanent Part Time 0.5 FTE position. Days of works at Monday, Tuesday and alternating Wednesdays with shifts from 08:00 to 16:00.

- Graduation from an approved school of nursing.
- Two (2) years’ recent related experience in a mental health and substance use environment or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Current valid B.C. driver’s license.
