Position Summary

Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) in Kamloops, B.C. is currently seeking Term Specific Full Time Registered Nurses, passionate about working in Emergency. We are looking for an experienced Nurse to join our team of dedicated professionals.

The terms of these positions is until December 31, 2022.

What will you work on?

This term specific full-time position offers a fast-paced, rewarding position in the Emergency Department. As a general duty registered nurse, you will work with admitted medical patients under the direction of the Physician and alongside the Emergency department team!

The Registered Nurse practices in a variety of clinical settings and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care. Working in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse ensures the delivery of client–centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs. The Registered Nurse demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities.

Shift types are days and nights and shift times are from 07:30-19:40 and 19:30-07:40 hours.

Qualifications

Education, Training and Experience:

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
