Medical Device Reprocessing Technician

Position Summary

If you are a motivated and reliable Medical Device Reprocessing Technician with attention to detail and strong communication skills we would love to hear from you as we have a career opportunity available within our team at Royal Inland Hospital.

This is a relief full time position until return of incumbent (June 2023). Upon completion of 180 hours, there is option of purchasing medical, dental and extended health benefit plans. When the employee occupies the position for 6 months or longer, entitlement to the reimbursement for benefits and enrollment in the benefit plan will be at the expense of the employer. Relocation Allowance package may be offered with position. As a member of the Royal Inland Hospital Medical Device Reprocessing Team, you will perform a series of detailed technical duties related to the decontamination, sterilization, reassembly, function testing and distribution of medical and/or surgical supplies and instruments for various areas of the hospital. In addition to performing related clerical duties and record keeping.

Effective April 1, 2023, hourly rate of pay is $27.40.

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• Successful completion of Sterile Processing Course
• One year’s recent related experience is an asset
