Physiotherapist

Position Summary

Effective April 1, 2022, hourly rates of pay: $37.84 to $46.95

Interior Health is currently seeking applications for casual Physiotherapists at Rocky Mountain Lodge in Cranbrook, BC.

Casual employment means work requirements can vary between zero and 37.5 hours per week. Casual employees receive 13 percent of straight time pay, exclusive of all premiums, in lieu of scheduled vacations and statutory holidays. Upon completion of 180 hours, Casual employees have the option of purchasing medical, dental and extended health benefit plans. There may be opportunity to do casual work at FW Green Home in Cranbrook as well.

What will you work on?
The Physiotherapist works independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary Rehabilitation Team providing physiotherapy services including assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education of clients and/or their caregivers to promote functional independence and enable the client to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes.

How will you create impact?
The Physiotherapist will create impact by providing service to the clients within the community recovering from post-surgeries (e.g. post operative total hip or knee replacement), stroke, neurological conditions and post amputee rehab.

How will we help you grow?
During your Physiotherapist career with Interior Health, you will always have access to other therapists and the Physiotherapy Professional Practice Leader to support your work. Orientation into the position will include site tour, staff introductions, and partnering with a senior therapist to assist in orientation to Community processes.

We are looking for a healthcare professional who is willing to be flexible and help out where needed.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC).
• Valid BC Driver’s License
