Interior Health has great relief part time (0.65 FTE) Registered Nurse opportunity in our acute medical and surgical units at the Boundary District Hospital in Grand Forks, B.C. This relief is until October 29, 2023 or return of the incumbent.

What will you work on?
As an RN in our 12 bed acute unit, you will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care. You will work in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, to ensure the delivery of client–centered care, by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs.
Shifts of work are rotating days and nights 08:00 to 20:00 and 20:00 to 08:00 hours.

About this location/unit
The Boundary Hospital is a very busy level 1 community hospital that has a catchment population of approximately 12,000 residents. The site offers medical, long-term care and emergency services and many community health programs are co-located at the hospital facility, which makes for a very collegial, multi-disciplinary team environment.
Grand Forks is a community of around 4,000 people, considered to be the ‘hub’ of the Boundary Region and conveniently located within a couple of hours driving of two major centers Spokane and Kelowna. This beautiful town is surrounded by pristine water from the Granby and Kettle Rivers. Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience:
• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
Comments
Effective April 1, 2023 - hourly rate $40.21-$57.78 per hour.
