Interior Health Physiotherapists work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team providing physiotherapy services and in guiding work direction to rehabilitation assistant(s). We have a permanent, part time (0.84FTE) opening available. This position will work Wednesday to Saturday 07:30 to 15:30.

What Will You Work On?
The applicant will be in a float position, working in various areas of the hospital, based on vacancies and workload requirements. Applicants will be fully oriented to all the wards/services at PRH. Patient types will range from pediatrics to geriatrics, complex frail, medical and surgical.
How Will You Create Impact?
PRH is a 155-bed Acute Care facility in the Okanagan Health Service Area and responsible for providing core medical and surgical specialty services to surrounding population of approximately 90,000 people. As a member of the PRH multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, you will work independently and collaboratively providing physiotherapy services that include assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education of clients and/or their caregivers.

Orientation includes dedicated time for online learning of IHA processes, 1:1 time with the practice lead, job shadowing of all team members and other orientation or experiential opportunities identified by the employee.

• Current registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC).
