Position Summary
Effective April 1, 2022, hourly rates of pay: $37.84 to $46.95
Interior Health Occupational Therapists works independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team providing occupational therapy services and guides the work direction of Rehabilitation Assistants.
We have a Relief Part Time opening where days of work are Tuesday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00 hours. What Will You Work On?
This position works primarily with older adults admitted to acute care hospital and at a long term care setting attached to the hospital. The position offers OT services such as assessment and intervention focused on discharge home from acute care, assessment of occupational performance for those admitted to LTC to support independence, engagement in valued activities and prevention of morbidity.

Funding and time off to pursue formal learning courses within collective agreement allowance, mentorship from senior therapists as needed, department level education from in services, rounds and journal clubs.
Who Are We Looking For?
Occupational Therapist with a passion for client centred care, flexibility to work between sites autonomously. Department has a strong focus on work/life balance. Ability to organize time and prioritize work appropriately.
Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience:
• Graduation from a recognized occupational therapy program.
• Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC).
