Position Summary
Effective April 1, 2022, hourly rates of pay: $37.84 to $46.95
Interior Health Physiotherapists work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team providing physiotherapy services and in guiding work direction to rehabilitation assistant(s). We have a permanent, fulltime opening available. What will you work on?
Royal Inland Hospital’s Physiotherapists work in many areas of the hospital: Othro, Neuro, Medical Intensive, Critical Care/Trauma, Emergency, Cardiac ICU, Daycare Surgery, Oncology, Palliative, Stroke Medical, General Surgical and Outpatient follow up. In this position the Physiotherapist will have varied work duties, as per operational requirements. It is a position requiring one to alternate through all areas of Acute Care and requires the Physiotherapist to rotate through weekends.

Royal Inland Hospital serves the City of Kamloops and outlying rural areas. A broad scope of patients are seen; there is a little bit of everything including pediatrics. Team members work closely together to meet the patients’ needs.

Provide you with an orientation customized to meet your needs, and immediate support and access from excellent colleagues and the Physiotherapy Professional Practice Leader. During your Physiotherapist career working in the tertiary acute care setting you will grow in abilities as you get exposed to every diagnosis. We do the full scope and you’ll get to experience everything. Library Services to support patient care, education and research are available. Educational opportunities, such as iLearns, in-house services, project assignments, etc.
Who are we looking for?
This position is suitable for a new grad or a seasoned therapist. We are seeking a Physiotherapist who works well within the team but also able to work independently with good people and communication skills. Ability to coach and educate clients. Willing to learn new skills.

Qualifications
• Current registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC).
