Position Summary
We are looking for a patient focused and autonomous Registered Nurse to join our Emergency department within our small team in Kaslo, BC. If you have rural or emergency nursing experience and are ready for an adventure in a beautiful setting, this could be the opportunity for you!
Kaslo emergency has two beds and one treatment room and all emergency admissions are transferred to other sites. As the emergency Nurse, you will work closely with the Physician to deliver client-centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs. There is a very supportive wider team of healthcare professionals at this site, with a great community atmosphere.

Qualifications
Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
Advanced preparation in an ED clinical specialty or Rural Nursing Certificate/ED training or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within 3 years.
