Position Summary

Interior Health is seeking a Permanent Full Time Section Head – General Radiology, CT, Mammography to join the team at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital (EKRH). Located in beautiful Cranbrook’ BC, EKRH provides core medical and surgical specialty services to patients throughout its service area.

What Will You Work On?

Reporting to the Professional Practice Leader, this position is responsible for the direction, supervision, coordination, evaluation, planning and monitoring of the General Radiology, Computed Tomography (CT) and Mammography departments in accordance with Interior Health Medical Imaging goals and directions. Acts as an expert clinical resource to staff and students working in these sections.

Serving a catchment area of approximately 80,000 people EKRH is responsible for providing medical and surgical specialty services to patients throughout its service area.

We are looking for a fast-learning tech with recent management/leadership experience. The successful applicant will have their CT and/or Mammography certificate and will be flexible as the environment is ever changing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical radiological technology program and four years’ recent related experience within CT/Mammography including two years’ of supervisory/management experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Certification in CT and/or Mammography.
• Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
