Effective April 1, 2022, hourly rates of pay: $37.84 to $46.95

Kelowna General Hospital (KGH) employs a large Physiotherapy Department with 100+ staff consisting of approximately 60 Physiotherapists, numerous Rehabilitation Assistants and Pool Therapists. We have a really dynamic, supportive and engaged team making it a great place to come to work. We are growing our Casual Pool and invite Physiotherapists to apply with interest for Casual work within the Central Okanagan Physiotherapy programs.

Casual employment means work requirements can vary between Zero and 37.5 hours per week. Shift days will vary but hours of work fall within the Day hours (08:00 to 16:00 hours). KGH is a large tertiary rehab site offering numerous areas of practice for a Physiotherapist including acute medical care, acute surgical care, large outpatients programs, large inpatient rehab programs, community care rehab, long term care, and urgent primary care centre… there something for everybody with opportunities to grow your career by means of internal job postings and internal movement.

Join a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team in providing physiotherapy services. Physiotherapists contribute to the organization and the overall goals of the profession and department. You’ll participate in departmental/program quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education; and provide work direction to the rehabilitation assistant working with the rehabilitation team. A board range of Allied Health Services support patient/client rehabilitation: Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Psychology, and Orthotics/Prosthetics.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC).
