Adult Day Program Worker

Position Summary

We are currently seeking an Adult Day Program Worker to join our dedicated and energetic team in Kelowna!

As an Adult Day Program Worker you will assist in facilitating leisure activities and social programs for clients attending the program. You will also provide direction and support clients with activities related to daily living as they strive toward promoting maximum independence.

The successful candidate must have strong communication skills and be a team player!

This is a casual opportunity. Hours of work will vary from 0 to 37.5 hours per week working Mondays to Saturdays as needed with Sundays and stats off. Typical shift times include 08:30 to 16:00, 09:00 to 15:30, 07:30 to 15:30, and 15:00 to 19:00.

Qualifications

Education, Training and Experience:
• Grade 12 plus and at a minimum graduation from an Activity/Recreation program; or an equivalent combination of current education, training and experience.
• One year recent related experience in an Adult Day Programs (which includes experience in recreation/activation).
