We’re looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with emergency or rural nursing experience to join our team!

The Princeton General Hospital is a Level 1 Community Hospital in the Okanagan health service area. Located south west of Penticton, the hospital offers services including acute care, laboratory, and 24 hour emergency.

This permanent full time position is based out of Princeton, and the successful applicant will cover vacation relief between the Princeton General Hospital and the South Similkameen Health Centre in Keremeos.

Shifts for Princeton are rotating days and nights, 07:00-19:00 and 19:00-07:00.

Shifts for Keremeos are days only.

Qualifications

Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

Advanced preparation in the clinical specialty of the assigned area as required by the position:
•Emergency: Advanced preparation in an ED clinical specialty or an equivalent combination of education & experience. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) within 3 years.

*Relocation assistance and rural sign-on bonus available for eligible roles. Short-term, temporary housing may also be available for those relocating to the area.
