Focus is on diagnosis and stabilization with rehabilitation strategies to promote stabilization and reintegration into the community to return home.

How You Will Create Impact:
The Physiotherapist is an important part of the care plan team. Your assessments and recommendations are used throughout patients’ stay and then follow the patient upon return to their home community. You are big part of the physical rehab component for those patients who require this while they are at Hillside for their psychiatric concerns.

How We Will Help You Grow:
There are multiple courses available to help you feel comfortable working with this population of patients (i.e. PIECES, Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA), Provincial Violence Prevention Curriculum (PVPC), Advanced Team Response training).
